The education services of the Municipality of Eura are seeking a permanent Student Guidance Teacher starting September 1, 2026 (1st placement at Eura Comprehensive School). In the 2026-2027 academic year, Eura Comprehensive School has approximately 360 lower secondary students and about 40 teachers and instructors. Information about the school can be found on the website euranyhteiskoulu.fi. We are looking for a student-oriented professional and a good colleague to join our team. We require good cooperation skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the enthusiasm and ability to develop both your own teaching and the school as a whole. The job description of the Student Guidance Teacher includes teaching, individual guidance and small group guidance, communication with stakeholders, and the planning and development of guidance. We value good organizational skills and the ability to support students' studies and help them find further education placements. We value a student-oriented and inspiring approach to guidance and student welfare, as well as a calm and thoughtful educational approach. We offer the opportunity to develop student guidance as a team member together with a colleague and the upper secondary school guidance counselor, a pleasant working community, and an e-pass as a staff benefit. Eligibility requirements are determined according to the Decree on the Qualifications of Teaching Staff (986/98), and remuneration and working hours are according to OVTES (+ Eura supplement). It is not necessary to attach copies of certificates to the application. The selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the law (504/2002) and provide an acceptable medical certificate of their health status before the selection is confirmed.
