The Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic treats and examines young people aged 13–22. The position is located in one of the clinic's treatment teams. In addition to the psychologist, the team consists of a physician and three nurses. The psychologist's duties include psychological testing and assessments, therapeutic talk therapy, and multidisciplinary teamwork. The qualification requirement for the position is a licensed psychologist's qualification. Additionally, we require excellent Finnish language skills and good cooperation and interaction skills. Previous experience as a psychologist working with adolescents and their families is considered an advantage. The position offers strong collegial support and supervision. The immediate supervisor is the lead psychologist. We offer sports, culture, and wellbeing benefits, as well as a free gym in Rauma, Harjavalta, Pori, and Ulvila. Pori is a pleasant-sized city with diverse hobby opportunities and a nature-oriented environment, including Yyteri. The terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The person selected for the position must provide a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Disclosure of Information from the Criminal Record (504/2002) for those working with minors before accepting the position.
