Personal Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated personal assistant to join Onni in providing client-focused support in a permanent position. As a personal assistant, you will help clients live their own way, offering assistance with daily tasks at home and in activities outside the home. Clients may vary in needs and levels of assistance, and duties are determined by the client's condition and individual need. The job is versatile and may include several different clients and tasks in a single day if desired. No formal training or prior experience is required; a positive attitude toward assistance work, willingness to learn, and ability to work in client-centered situations are sufficient. All new assistants receive thorough onboarding in Onni’s own Assistant Academy before starting, with continued guidance during employment from your team supervisor. Work is generally in two shifts on weekdays and weekends, with shift lengths from two hours and up, and the workday may involve one or more clients. You can influence your shifts and work part-time or as a freelancer depending on your life situation. We consider both client needs and our assistants’ preferences to fit schedules together. The first shift for a client may be an onboarding shift, after which both assistant and client can assess cooperation and compatibility. If later you feel something isn’t right, we will discuss and find a suitable solution together. If you wish, you can work with Onni for multiple clients by coordinating schedules. We expect you to have at least a B2 level of Finnish, a driving licence with your own car, and be of legal age. Salary is in accordance with the private social services sector collective agreement (G15A): Finland (other than Åland): 2084.63–2292.48 €/month (12.79–14.06 €/hour) plus possible shift bonuses.
