Home Service Instructors for Families with Children

We are now looking for home service instructors for families with children for on-call work in Kymenlaakso (Kotka, Hamina, Kouvola and surrounding areas)! The work is hourly, and work is available according to demand and orders. Work begins by agreement and in line with orders. Home service visits to families are often at least two hours long, but may also be longer depending on the client family and its needs. We work flexibly according to clients’ needs at all times of day and, when needed, on every day of the week. As a home service instructor for families with children, you provide practical support for families’ everyday lives. This may mean, for example, supporting parents with childcare and light household tasks. The need for help may arise from a situation that places a strain on the family, such as caring for twins, a family member’s illness or general exhaustion. The work is independent and every visit can be different—you support the everyday lives of different families. Why take this opportunity? Pay The pay for the position is €15.29–€16.69 per hour depending on your previous relevant experience (pay grade G20C). The position includes shift-work compensation in accordance with the private social services collective agreement. What kind of employee are we looking for to strengthen our team’s expertise? We expect you to have a vocational qualification in social and health care or a vocational qualification in education and guidance. Experience in services for families with children or disability services is an advantage. You communicate skilfully with clients and other professionals. You have the courage and enthusiasm to step into new situations and raise matters when necessary, and you see the good in everyone. Because the work is independent, success in the role also requires a responsible, flexible and self-directed approach and an open attitude. Our clients are located across Kymenlaakso, so a driving licence and the ability to use your own car are necessary, although we primarily use Humana’s own cars for client work.
