About the role

About the role As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for managing and developing the solution architecture within the Animal Health OT and IT system landscape, in line with Orion’s IT architecture processes. Alongside this, you also act as a Solution Expert, providing technical support on the OT environment. The role is approximately split 50/50 between architecture responsibilities and technical expert support. You work closely with Animal Health Operations, the Transformation Office, Orion Corporate IT, and external partners such as vendors and infrastructure providers. You also contribute to the digitalization of the OT system landscape, enabling real-time, data-driven decision-making. Your location is Arques (France), with hybrid working possibilities and occasional travel between sites. You will join the newly established Transformation Office, an expert team focused on IT, business processes, and the further development of the OT landscape. In this new role, you will have the opportunity to significantly accelerate business value by translating strategic objectives into scalable, efficient solutions that improve performance, reduce risk, and enable faster decision-making. You report directly to the Head of the Transformation Office. Your key responsibilities OT & IT architecture ownership - Develop and maintain OT & IT system architecture (including configuration management, technical changes, lifecycle management) - Ensure implementation follows defined architecture standards and business requirements Solution delivery & project support - Design, develop and maintain IT solutions within the OT landscape - Support projects during development and implementation phases - Contribute to digitalization enabling real-time, data-driven decision-making Supply, vendor & lifecycle management - Manage and optimize system lifecycle - Participate in RFP processes and vendor evaluations Business & stakeholder alignment - Assess business needs from an architectural perspective - Work closely with cross-functional and external stakeholders What we offer A versatile and challenging role with real impact.
