Role overview: As a nurse, you will be part of the emergency department’s multi-professional team in a rapidly changing operating environment. You will broadly utilize your expertise and participate in key stages of the patient’s care pathway. Your duties include assessing care needs, providing telephone guidance, caring for emergency patients, and guiding relatives. You will collaborate closely with other professionals to ensure high-quality and smooth care for patients. Continuous development of services with staff and other actors is an important part of the role. The job is a two-shift position. The nurse appointed to the position must obtain authorization for medication administration in accordance with the wellbeing region’s regulatory practices during the probationary period. The eligibility requirement is licensure as a nurse under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994). A six-month probation period will be observed.
