Practical Nurse

Solo Health is seeking Practical Nurses for fixed-term positions in Kemiönsaari from August 3, 2026, to January 10, 2027. The roles are based in two units: Silverbacken in Västanfjärd, a small home-like unit with 12 client places, and Hannakoti in Dragsfjärd, a larger unit with approximately 42 places providing both round-the-clock care and short-term care. Both units are part of the Southwest Finland wellbeing services county for the elderly. Key responsibilities include basic nursing, medication administration, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, planning and implementing oSKE activities, and supporting residents' functional capacity. The work follows a 3-shift rotation with a working time of 114 hours and 45 minutes every three weeks. Requirements include a Practical Nurse degree, JulkiTerhikki registration, and vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. Valid LOVe medication permits are an advantage but can be completed at the start of employment. Proficiency in Finnish and Swedish (at least B1 level) is required.
