Cablex was founded in 2008, and since 2021 we have been part of HELUKABEL GmbH, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of cables, wires and cable accessories. We are seeking a Chief Information Officer for Cablex to support the company’s growth. Do you have a strong track record in business-oriented technology and IT leadership, ERP renewals and change management? We are looking for a CIO to take responsibility for the strategic direction of the company’s IT and information management, systems landscape, architecture and development, and to build capabilities for future business growth. The role combines strategic IT leadership and business development with a strong hands-on approach to development and implementation. It is suited to someone who can establish a long-term direction and turn it into concrete action together with the business, their own team and partners. Your duties and key responsibilities Strategic IT leadership and development You will be responsible for Cablex’s IT strategy and its implementation as part of the company’s business strategy. You will lead the IT development plan and enterprise architecture, prioritise development projects, and be responsible for the IT budget and investment planning. In cooperation with business leadership, you will ensure that IT solutions support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. Data, analytics and artificial intelligence You will lead the development of data and analytics use and create operating practices for high-quality, consistent use of information. Together with the business, you will identify practical opportunities to use AI and be responsible for advancing them systematically. Partner and group collaboration You will guide key IT partners and be responsible for cooperation with the HELUKABEL Group. You will ensure that Cablex’s IT environment and its development are appropriately aligned with the group’s information security, infrastructure and systems. Leading and implementing change You will lead IT- and systems-related changes from planning through practical implementation. You will ensure that changes support business objectives, employees commit to new practices and the changes deliver their intended benefits. You will also take a hands-on role in implementing development and other work. What we expect from you - Broad experience in IT leadership and previous experience with systems and development portfolios. - Strong expertise in ERP and business systems, and understanding of integrations, enterprise architecture and data architecture. - A track record of successfully delivering change: you can set a direction, engage people and ensure new practices take root. - Financial and commercial judgement for assessing and prioritising IT investments, budgeting and managing partners. - Up-to-date understanding of the opportunities automation and AI offer for business development. - Strong communication and influencing skills, and readiness to work in an executive team and international group environment. - Fluent Finnish and English. - A suitable university degree. Experience in industrial, technical-trade or logistics environments is also valued. Why Cablex? Further information As CIO, you will be a member of Cablex’s executive team and report directly to the company’s CEO, Zaki Chaabouni. You will also be Cablex’s principal IT contact for the HELUKABEL Group and work closely with business leadership and strategic IT partners.
