The Arctic Capital is seeking for the wellbeing sector SECTOR DIRECTOR Come influence the future of the Arctic Capital. We are looking for a Sector Director for the wellbeing sector to lead and develop Rovaniemi as an even more attractive city for sports and culture, and to build future wellbeing services. Your task is to lead and develop Rovaniemi's wellbeing sector, which includes culture, youth, and sports services. As Sector Director, you will serve as the presenter for the Wellbeing Board. You will be responsible for the cross-administrative coordination of health and wellbeing promotion (HYTE) in the city. Success in this position requires strong cooperation skills as well as communication, presentation, and advocacy skills. You have broad knowledge of the specific characteristics of culture, sports, and youth services and can lead your subordinate organization with an inspiring approach. We value experience and evidence of implementing various events and the effective management of development projects in the wellbeing sector. Building and maintaining partnerships and networks comes naturally to you. As Sector Director, you will be part of the city's executive management team. We expect that working within a management team is familiar and appealing to you. The eligibility criteria for the position are a higher university degree, demonstrated management skills in practice, and fluent written and oral skills in Finnish. Knowledge of public administration is considered an advantage. The employment is permanent and includes a six-month probationary period. Before assuming the position, the selected candidate must present an acceptable medical certificate regarding their state of health and an acceptable drug test certificate. An aptitude assessment may be carried out for selected applicants as part of the selection process. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with KVTES.
