(Lead) Automation Engineer
Lead Automation Engineer in Espoo, hybrid role with relocation support.
Location: Espoo, Finland. Hybrid, with 1–2 days working from home. Reports to: Lead Mechatronics Engineer. Type: Permanent, full-time. Relocation support provided for outside Finland. We design and build automation for 3D concrete printing systems, with a hands-on role in architecture, hardware, PLC software, documentation, and commissioning. We’re seeking a (Lead) Automation Engineer who can grow into a small-team leadership role after 8–10 months. Responsibilities include electrical topology design, wiring, control system layouts, IEC61131 programming (Structured Text, Function Block Diagram), HMI support, safety automation, documentation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Qualifications include a degree in Automation/Electrical/Control Engineering, experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT, and strong documentation and independent work capabilities.
