Construction Site Assistant

We are looking for an energetic and proactive construction site assistant for the site of a significant project in Lappeenranta! If you are flexible, quick to learn and enjoy teamwork in a fast-paced, low-hierarchy environment, this role is for you. Your personality matters greatly in this role, and you will help ensure the smooth running of the project. The role As a construction site assistant, you will play a key role alongside the project assistant in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the project in Lappeenranta. Your varied duties cover a wide range of practical arrangements, support tasks and communication with different stakeholders. You will work closely with the project assistant, project managers and other staff, keeping things under control even when it is busy and ensuring that everything needed is available and things keep moving forward. Your duties The role focuses on ensuring the smooth running of the site's daily operations and logistics, including a wide range of administrative and practical support tasks. - Maintain site supplies and coordinate equipment. - Organise clothing orders, deliveries and other support services. - Order office supplies and other necessary items. - Maintain close contact with site stakeholders, such as project managers. - Meet support needs, including arranging catering and carrying out physical moving tasks. - Provide practical support to site staff in situations as they arise. What we are looking for - Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English. - A proactive and service-minded approach to work. - Proficiency in M365 applications. - Ability to work in a rapidly changing and hectic environment. - Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. - High stress tolerance. - A driving licence and your own car. - Experience in industry, on a construction site or in the construction sector is an advantage. - Ability to do light physical work and handle goods.
