Pediatrician

As a pediatrician, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in pediatric and adolescent cardiology as part of specialized operations. We are offering two part-time (50%) positions that combine demanding specialized expertise, collaboration, and the opportunity to develop operations. Your role You will work as a pediatrician at the pediatric and adolescent cardiology outpatient clinic, which is part of the Tyks pediatric and adolescent specialty clinic responsibility area. Your work will focus on outpatient activities for children and adolescents as well as consultations. As part of the role, you will also participate in pediatric emergency services at Tyks Majakka Hospital. If necessary, you will also work elsewhere in the pediatric and adolescent clinic and in nearby hospitals. You will work in a close-knit team consisting of two pediatric cardiologists and pediatricians undergoing additional training in pediatric cardiology. In your role, you will also be involved in the care of patients requiring national collaboration, and you will have the opportunity to develop operations and take responsibility for a suitable area. In this position, you need good Finnish language skills and satisfactory Swedish language skills. An interest in scientific research is considered an advantage. Eligibility requirements include legalization or a permit to act in the duties of a physician as stipulated in the Act on Health Care Professionals 559/94, and specialist qualification in a field suitable for the position.
