Java Developer

Java Developer - CGI, Helsinki. We are looking for experienced Java Developers to join CGI's team working with business-critical systems. This is not a traditional project-based development role—instead, you'll be involved throughout the entire application lifecycle, from development and testing to production support and continuous improvements. What you'll be doing: Developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot; Designing, implementing and maintaining REST APIs and integrations; Maintaining and enhancing production systems; Investigating and resolving production incidents and technical issues; Writing and maintaining unit, integration and API tests; Contributing to test automation and continuous improvements; Working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams; Supporting the full software lifecycle in a continuous services environment. We are looking for someone with: production-environment experience; strong Java backend development; Spring/Spring Boot; REST APIs; SQL skills; integrations; production systems maintenance; production support and incident management; testing. Finnish language skills required. Nice-to-have: Robot Framework, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Batch, CI/CD tools; Docker and Kubernetes; Splunk.
