Industrial Maintenance Technician for Shutdown Assignments

We are looking for a mechanical maintenance technician for gig-based work around Finland. The work is especially suited to someone who is used to travelling for work and enjoys varied industrial environments and different maintenance tasks. Assignments focus on industrial shutdowns, so workdays can be long and the pace can sometimes be intense. In return, the role offers changing sites, practical work and the chance to work in different industrial environments across Finland. What does the work involve? You will work in mechanical maintenance at customers’ production facilities around Finland. Tasks and sites vary between assignments, so the role requires versatile practical skills and readiness to take on different maintenance jobs. What do we expect from you? You need previous experience in mechanical maintenance and practical skills in industrial maintenance work. Suitable training in metalworking or another technical field provides a good foundation. The role requires: - Previous experience in mechanical maintenance - A valid Occupational Safety Card - Good physical fitness - Readiness for long workdays and travel - Sufficient Finnish language skills to understand work instructions and work safely We particularly value previous experience in gig-based work. It is important that travelling for work suits your life situation and that you are ready to work flexibly at different sites. What is the work like in practice? The work is assignment-based, with sites around Finland. Assignments typically run Monday to Friday, and workdays often last around 10–12 hours. Assignments start from Pirkkala, and people usually travel to the sites together in a company vehicle. You do not need to drive your own car to work sites around Finland. What do we offer?
