Cost Engineer

Jake Rakennus Oy is a construction company based in Ostrobothnia, operating mainly in the Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, and South Ostrobothnia regions. Our company's turnover is approximately 20 million euros and the order book for 2026 is approximately 19 million euros. Our offices are located in Pietarsaari, Vaasa, and Kokkola. We are looking for an analytical and sales-oriented COST ENGINEER to support growth in Vaasa. You will be responsible for the quantity surveying and pricing of various construction projects, as well as requesting and comparing preliminary offers. You will ensure that the offers are competitive and meet our high quality requirements. You will be an important part of our project organization. An important part of your work is the use of Excel and calculation software to create detailed and selling offers, as well as communication and contact by phone and email with customers and different departments of the company. The final job description will be specified according to the selected person. We expect from you an engineering education and experience in similar tasks from public or industrial construction projects. Good Microsoft Office skills. You have good organizational and cooperation skills, a positive and result-oriented attitude. You have strong cost awareness, a systematic way of working and the ability to work both independently and in a team. You can be at the beginning of your career or already a more experienced expert. You communicate fluently in Finnish. Knowledge of Swedish and English is considered an advantage.
