Healthcare Assistant

A nursing role in the rehabilitation assessment unit Visiti in a multidisciplinary team. Clients are directed to the unit after a service guidance decision or hospital stay due to need for further rehabilitation, and you work closely with the client’s entire service network. You are responsible for implementing nursing care and services that promote rehabilitation and participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and health promotion as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will use indicators such as RAI to assess the client’s functional status and plan care. You monitor the client’s health and rehabilitation, report changes and document nursing work with regard to data privacy practices. In addition, you guide and counsel clients and relatives and participate in the orientation of new employees, staff from the resource pool and students. The aim is to support the client living at home. The practical nurse works in a three-shift system. You can guide and advise clients and their relatives. A valid LOVe-drug license and RAI- assessment competencies are considered merits. Eligibility requires a basic social and health care qualification (practical nurse) or a similar level qualification and a valid registration in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
