We are now seeking for the Sipoo early childhood education sector: AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TEACHER for a permanent position, located at Mäntymäki Day Care Centre in Söderkulla, Sipoo. Start date in September or by agreement. Our day care centre is centrally located in Söderkulla, making it easy to take trips to the nearby forest, library, and sports field. The day care centre has five Finnish-language groups, four of which are currently active. We have one group for children under 3 and three groups for 3-5 year olds. All groups have professional and committed educators who have worked in the unit for a long time. We collaborate across group boundaries, and educators feel that our spaces support daily small-group activities well. Genuine and unhurried presence of adults with the children is important to us. Through sensitive and warm interaction, we create a trusting relationship between children, educators, and guardians. The eligibility requirement for the position is at least the qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), taking into account the entry into force and transitional provisions of sections 74 and 75. The selected early childhood education teacher must have excellent oral and written proficiency in Finnish. Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the OVTES Early Childhood Education Teaching Staff (section G). The position-specific level salary is 3111.76 €/month + possible additions. A six-month probationary period applies to the employment relationship. The selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Disclosure of the Criminal Record of Persons Working with Children (504/2002) and an acceptable health certificate. The Communicable Diseases Act requires the clarification of tuberculosis infection risk for those working with children under school age.
