Cleaner

SOL is looking for a Finnish-speaking Service Responsible (Cleaner) for government site cleaning tasks in the Lahti area. The role involves daily maintenance cleaning of offices and public spaces according to a weekly plan, including the use of cleaning machinery. Additional tasks include basic cleaning such as floor washing and window cleaning. After the orientation period, daily tasks are performed primarily independently, though support from the team and supervisor is always available via phone. Key responsibilities include maintenance cleaning using manual and machine methods (vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces), maintaining hygiene levels in restrooms and kitchen/break areas, emptying waste bins, communicating with customers and staff, reporting damages or maintenance needs, and maintaining cleaning equipment. Work shifts are Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 14:00, with 37.5 hours per week. The role is permanent and full-time. Candidates must be adults with at least one year of cleaning experience, fluent Finnish skills, a positive customer service attitude, and a clean criminal record. Cleaning education is an advantage but not mandatory.
