We are seeking two permanent civil servant physicians for Viita­saaren health center. Viitasaaren town is located in Central Finland along the highway 4. It is 98 km to Jyväskylä. There are seven physician vacancies in Viitasaari, and the health center hosts physicians from various specialties for patient consultations. You will have some influence over your own duties, and the atmosphere has consistently received good feedback in surveys. The avoterveydenhuollon health-center physician work includes both urgent and non-urgent patient appointments and sector work (e.g., maternal/child health, school and student health care, ward work, and other elderly care). Emergency appointments in evenings and weekends are possible but limited. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting with a care-continuity model; consultations with various specialties and professionals are easy. We are a training-friendly organization and invest in a good work climate. Central Finland hosts a broad teacher/trainer network and strong senior support. We also offer part-time arrangements. The salary for a health center physician starts at 7,675.00 €/month, with possible supplements.
