Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus. Remote work experience is advantageous but not required. Responsibilities
- Direct Tax Compliance: Oversee global direct tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, and other direct tax filings across all company entities.
- Collaboration with Advisors: Partner with external tax advisors to support filings, documentation, and reporting obligations in multiple jurisdictions.
- Sustainable Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with local tax authorities, mitigating risk and maintaining strong relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify, monitor, and address potential tax risks, proposing actionable solutions.
- Tax Audits & Inspections: Assist in managing audits and inspections, liaising with tax authorities to resolve issues efficiently.
- Tax Strategy & Planning: Provide strategic tax guidance on cross-border transactions, corporate structuring, and tax-efficient planning aligned with business objectives.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Keep up-to-date with changes in global tax laws and proactively adapt processes and strategies.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals, supporting their development and day-to-day execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless tax compliance and reporting.
Requirements
- Experience in international direct taxation across multiple jurisdictions, preferably in a consultancy or multinational corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of global corporate tax rules, cross-border compliance, tax treaties, and EU Directives.
- Leadership, analytical and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
