Here is a great opportunity for long-term employment with a stable Finnish company in a relaxed and pleasant community atmosphere. We are currently seeking a metalworker for manufacturing/assembly tasks in Pirkkala for a metal subcontracting company with a long history in the field. Our client company designs and manufactures high-quality metal products and parts, specializing in sheet metal work. Their service offering is diverse, including laser cutting, laser welding, machining, bending, assembly, and powder coating. The company's premises are modern, bright, and comfortable to work in. The primary task of the metalworker is the manufacturing and assembly of ventilation parts/products. The work is diverse and includes several different stages. Tasks include sheet metal rolling, bending, drilling, screwing, puttying, riveting, as well as spot and seam welding. The parts are generally small and lightweight. Occasionally, there may be opportunities to participate in other production tasks within the company. Success in the role requires mastery of the basics of sheet metal work, MIG/MAG welding skills, and proficiency in using basic hand tools. We naturally value expertise gained through experience, but we also consider committed candidates with a good work ethic and manual dexterity who are at the beginning of their careers. A vocational qualification in machinery and production technology provides a good foundation for the work. Proper and thorough orientation will be provided for the position. The work is a daytime position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 16:30, 8 h/day, 40 h/week. The position follows the technology industry collective agreement. Salary is according to the collective agreement / skill level. The position starts as soon as a suitable person is found via a fixed-term staffing agency contract. Following this, the worker is intended to continue in the role with an open-ended employment contract directly as a permanent employee of our client company.
