Software Developer role within HUS, focusing on patient information systems and related services in the IT department. The position is permanent in the Potilasjärjestelmät responsibility area and the Regional Patient System Services unit. The unit is a multidisciplinary team that develops, tests, and maintains core patient data systems and interfaces, ensuring reliability and security. The role involves product owner duties for three system components, coordinating between end users and suppliers, monitoring development, performing application testing, and supporting deployment and procurement tasks. The work environment emphasizes continuous learning, professional growth, and collaborative teamwork. The candidate will work in a hybrid setting in Helsinki with 2–3 days of remote work per week if feasible. The role includes responsibility for documenting configurations and service descriptions, enabling integrations, and improving quality, risk, and information security processes. The position reports to experienced colleagues and system administrators.
