We are seeking a dental hygienist for YTHS Lahti service point on a fixed-term contract from 1 Oct 2026 to 30 Sep 2027. The position is part-time (weekly hours 23h 9min). In student health care we provide oral health services ranging from prevention to examination and treatment. Our goal is to support students’ oral health and self-care and, where possible, reduce dental fear. As a dental hygienist you will be responsible for health guidance and patient visits, including assessment of treatment need and drafting a personal self-care plan. Your duties also include prevention and treatment of caries and gum diseases and imaging studies ordered by a dentist. If needed, you may also perform duties of a dental assistant, instrument care, and work in triage assessments. We use Acute and Winhit as patient record systems. The job salary is based on the demanding grade and any special allowances. For full-time (38h 35min/week) position (VR4) the salary is 2841–3154 EUR per month, depending on expertise and experience.
