As a Junior Robotics Engineer, you work with Scania on smart improvements, large and small. In this part-time job, you support Scania in the automation of our production processes. You think along about smart solutions and help improve robots and systems. You work closely with our two Robotics Engineers and can count on the support of a team of Product Engineers. Responsibilities: - Designing and developing mechanical parts and robotics systems that contribute to a smart and reliable production process. - Elaborating designs in CAD, so that ideas are clearly and carefully converted into practical solutions. - Collaborating with a multidisciplinary development team, sharing knowledge and thinking together to reach the best solutions. Scania Production Meppel Our factory in Meppel is unique due to the most advanced paint robots in the world. Together with 13 colleagues, you form the Product Development team and work in a fine LEAN environment. Your talents: - Pursuing a hbo or wo study in mechanical engineering or a similar technical direction. - Interest in robotics and curiosity about new techniques. - Enjoy designing and experimenting with 3D printing. - Proactive, eager to learn, and able to take responsibility.
