WE Rekry Oy - Earthworks Worker, Assistant Are you looking for earthworks work where you can make a concrete impact and spend your workdays on practical tasks? In this role, you will work as a partner to a machine operator on an infrastructure site, performing foundation work for a building as part of the smooth daily operations of the site. In this role, you will be employed in a long-term earthworks position, where you will be involved in hands-on work and potentially in subsequent projects after this site. What does the work involve? The site is located in Turku, and the work relates to foundation work for a building, earthmoving, and ground preparation. You will work closely with the machine operator and ensure that the work phases progress according to plan. Your duties include, for example: * installation of sewer networks and pipe lines * assisting in excavation and piping work as a partner to the machine operator * use of pipe and level lasers * measuring gradients according to technical drawings This job is suitable for you if you enjoy being outdoors, tackle work energetically, and appreciate that your own contribution is immediately visible in the progress of the site. What do we expect from you? We hope that you already have some experience in earthworks or similar tasks. The most important things are a practical approach and an understanding of daily site operations. * practical understanding of earthworks * ability to work as a partner to a machine operator * ability to read technical drawings * mastery of basic measurements on site * experience or willingness to use pipe and level lasers * proactive and responsible work ethic * excellent Finnish language skills Considered an advantage Previous experience in infrastructure or foundation construction work is beneficial. We also value thoroughness, cooperation skills, and an attitude of completing work properly to the end.
