Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Indian restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing authentic traditional Indian cuisine and be committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes according to authentic recipes. - Plan and prepare daily food production. - Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation. - Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene regulations. - Manage ingredients and help minimize food waste. - Work efficiently with other kitchen staff during busy service hours. Requirements - Good knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, spices, cooking methods, and regional dishes. - Ability to prepare a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, breads, vegetarian dishes, and desserts. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices. - English language skills are required. Finnish language skills are an advantage but are not mandatory.
