Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and motivated practical nurse for a part-time (75%) substitute position for the Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county. The initial placement is with the relief staff for disability services, although other areas may also be considered. We need a flexible and adaptable professional for our team who can support our units during sudden and longer-term substitution needs. The substitution begins as agreed and ends on April 30, 2027. Working as a relief employee is versatile and varied. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and expand experience in different work environments. Success in the position requires flexibility, good interaction skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We expect you to have previous work experience in the field and expertise in client work and rehabilitation. We especially value a positive and cheerful attitude as well as good cooperation skills. Eligibility requirement: Degree of a practical nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Health Care Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a practical nurse's degree are required to be registered in both of Valvira's professional registers, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected person must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected person must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
