The role of a club coach involves contributing to the development of players and the club's coaching culture within EIF, a traditional football club. The position is diverse and tailored to the successful candidate's skills, experience and strengths. Tasks may include acting as head coach for one or more teams, coaching across the club's age groups, designing and implementing individual development plans for players, planning and evaluating training sessions, preparing for and leading match events, mentoring other coaches within the area of responsibility, implementing and developing the club's coaching pathway, organizing camps, events and training, and collaborating with players, guardians and other coaches. The role may emphasize work with children, youth or competitive players, goalkeeper coaching, individual coaching or supporting other coaches depending on the applicant's background. We expect: experience in football coaching; passion for long-term player development; good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work as part of a coaching team; initiative, planning ability and a desire to develop own skills; good Finnish or Swedish language skills and adequate English; UEFA coaching education (UEFA C or higher is an advantage); a driving license is an advantage.
