We are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our data-driven leadership team at LähiTapiola Henkiyhtiö. In this role you will develop data accessibility, quality, data warehousing and reporting, and build solutions that turn data into meaningful information for the business. You will join an exciting transformation phase where we develop data-driven capabilities, modernize technologies, and strengthen the company’s own data expertise. You will influence how data is used to support customer understanding, forecasting, and business governance. As a Data Engineer you will work comprehensively with data, warehousing, and reporting solutions. You will collaborate closely with the data-driven leadership team, analysts, business experts, and external partners. - develop data, data warehousing and reporting solutions and related ETL processes and data models - produce information and reporting in cooperation with analysts and business experts - promote data accessibility and quality and develop related validation and data quality controls - participate in development projects as a data, warehousing and information management expert and promote the use of new technologies, cloud solutions and AI You will have responsibility for planning and advancing your own task bundles. At the same time you will help develop information governance processes and operating models within the organization. We expect from you: a suitable university degree and relevant work experience; strong SQL and database skills, understanding of data processes; experience defining and developing data warehouses, data flows, ETL processes and data models; understanding of cloud data solutions such as Azure and Snowflake; insight into how data, analytics and technologies support business needs; experience or understanding of data quality assurance, validation and controls; autonomous, structured and solution-oriented work approach and excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
