Systems Specialist

ARE is seeking a Systems Specialist for a permanent position within their special techniques division. The role focuses on the maintenance of electrical systems for a designated client, specifically targeting the electrical systems of telecommunications operators' facilities. The specialist will collaborate with clients, designers, other experts, and installers. The work is varied and involves interesting customer sites. Requirements include a relevant technical education (vocational qualification as an electrician) and 3-5 years of experience in similar roles. Candidates should have an understanding of building services processes and equipment, knowledge of building automation device sets, and familiarity with 48 VDC (power equipment and batteries). A valid occupational safety card and a Class B driver's license are mandatory. Experience in contract calculation, backup power technology, thermal imaging, and voltage work is considered an advantage.
