We are looking for a railway machinery operator for our client in Central Finland! We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious professional to work in the construction and maintenance of the railway network. The employee will be employed directly by the client. Your duties may include, among others, operating railway machinery, performing maintenance work, and maintaining track structures and ballast. An important part of your role is ensuring occupational safety and collaborating with other personnel. Requirements for the position: We hope you have experience in railway worker duties and a willingness to work in the railway area following safety regulations. Experience in the role of a railway work supervisor is considered an advantage. We also value a desire to develop your professional skills in railway work. Success in the position requires knowledge of the industry's key operating methods and concepts, as well as a proactive and responsible approach to work. We require the following from applicants: * Valid occupational safety card * Railway safety qualifications 1, 2, and 3 * Road safety (Tieturva) 1 * First aid training * Understanding of occupational safety on railway sites (risk identification and safety distances for electrified tracks) * Good physical condition to work long days (10 h) * Proficiency in Finnish A railway work permit is considered an advantage!
