Barona Flexible Industries Oy is seeking skilled meat cutters for the season at Kalasatama in Helsinki. This is seasonal work starting in October–November and lasting from a few months up to six months. The work is primarily on the morning shift, and the workplaces are in the Kalasatama area of Helsinki. The salary is determined in accordance with the meat industry collective agreement. JOB DUTIES You will work as a meat cutter in an industrial food-production environment. The work is physically demanding skilled work carried out in cool conditions. - Cut and process beef, mutton, lamb and pork using industrial methods. - Follow production instructions, hygiene standards and food-safety regulations. - Keep your workstation clean and orderly throughout the shift. - Report deviations and quality observations to your supervisor. WHAT WE REQUIRE - Previous experience in industrial meat cutting involving beef, lamb, mutton or pork. - A hygiene passport. - Ability to work in physically demanding, cool conditions. - Finnish or English language skills.
