Senior Cloud & Security Architect: Design Google Cloud environments and build them yourself

Requirements

• Deep hands-on Google Cloud experience from real production environments
• A background in platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps
• Infrastructure as code as your default way of working
• Security as a natural part of how you build
• The ability to explain technical trade-offs to customers and stand behind your decisions
• A clear idea of what you want to build next. Substance comes first, and after that we look at how you think and what you want to do

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design of customer environments and build them with the team
• Make architecture decisions, explain trade-offs, and stand behind the result
• Design Google Cloud architectures and build them in code
• Build security into the foundation: IAM, networking, guardrails, and audit readiness
• Improve existing environments: security, cost, performance, governance
• Work embedded in a customer’s development team when the project needs it
• Use AI tools in daily work, from writing code to running tasks
• Spar with the rest of the team and support less experienced consultants
