We are seeking a practical nurse for Salla home care for a fixed-term employment contract until January 17, 2027. Welcome to join us! Home care is implemented in the client's home or through remote visits, individually according to a service and care plan that considers the client's needs. Through home care services, we provide multidisciplinary support for the client's own resources and functional capacity and enable high-quality, safe, and meaningful living at home. Home care clients are primarily elderly people whose health condition requires special attention and multidisciplinary care. Practical nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team where everyone's contribution is valued. Team colleagues and your immediate supervisor will support you in your orientation to the new work community. Your role as a practical nurse will be to guide and assist the client in basic care and support them in everyday life with a rehabilitative approach, supporting the client's own resources. As a practical nurse, you will act as the clients' primary nurse, perform RAI assessments, and evaluate the client's functional capacity together with the team. The work also includes interacting with elderly clients, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and arranging support services with the rest of the team when necessary. WHAT DOES THE POSITION REQUIRE FROM YOU? - A degree as a practical nurse or other equivalent previous degree, and registration in JulkiTerhikki and/or JulkiSuosikki (Regional State Administrative Agency). - A driver's license and access to a private car.
