A vacancy for a municipal veterinarian has been opened in the southern Ostrobothnian joint area formed by Kurikka and Ilmajoki, for a permanent civil servant position. The post is primarily located at the Ilmajoki clinic, where you will work with a colleague, and you will also work at Kurikka's clinic with a colleague. The position includes diverse practical duties. Patients include production animals, horses, and small animals, with most of the work being basic practice. The on-call duties involve one of seven veterinarians covering the area. The on-call area corresponds to the joint area and starts at 12:00 in our region. On-call is a mixed day-on-call schedule. Salary is governed by the municipal general collective agreement. The post's base pay is currently 3191.97 €/month with on-call allowances: weekdays 10.06 €/h and Sundays 17.21 €/h. On-call days off are paid according to the collective agreement. Extra on-call hours are compensated according to a local agreement. A licence to practice as a veterinarian in Finland is a requirement for the position. We value good communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure. A six-month probation period applies. The position is filled under a fixed-term or permanent contract as agreed.
