Earthworks Worker

We are looking for workers for earthworks projects in the Turku region! We are seeking individuals who can commit to the role at least for the duration of the excavation season. The duration of the employment contract may vary from a few months to several months depending on ongoing projects, but by succeeding in the role, you will have the opportunity for permanent employment. Our client company specializes in providing a wide range of services related to various earthworks projects, and their primary area of operation includes Turku and its surrounding areas. In this role, you will participate diversely in various projects related to, for example, municipal engineering, house foundations, new and renovation construction, and many others. Tasks vary according to ongoing projects, e.g., groundworks, earthmoving, foundation preparation, installation of insulation, pipe and cable work, surveying, and general use of machinery and equipment. Currently, projects are focused on municipal engineering, meaning you will most often be involved in shoveling tasks. Work is normally performed Mon-Fri, 40h/week. The infrastructure sector collective agreement determines the pay for the position. What we hope for from you? - Previous work experience in similar tasks. - Ability to learn and adopt new things quickly and independence. - At least a category B driver's license; access to your own car is considered an advantage. - We also value the ability to commit to work, an active attitude towards work, ability to read drawings, good physical condition, precision, flexibility, and reliability.
