Our unit's goal is to ensure competent staffing for sudden personnel shortages across all hospital units. You will have the opportunity to work in specialties including acute geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, psychogeriatrics, and palliative care. As a registered nurse, you will work as part of our multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the planning and implementation of the patient's comprehensive care. As a team member, you must commit to maintaining and developing a patient-centered and rehabilitation-promoting approach. Flexibility to work in different teams, a willingness to learn new things, and a desire to develop operations in cooperation with hospital professionals are required from float pool staff. We strive to support the balance between work and leisure through community-based shift planning. We will provide orientation to the various hospital units and the systems used in the work. Collective agreement: SOTE Social and Health Care employment and official contract Position-specific salary: 3223.84 €/month What do we require from you? We require that you are a licensed registered nurse and have valid medication administration permits or complete the medication permit successfully by the end of the probationary period at the latest. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act, a health statement regarding pulmonary tuberculosis according to Section 55, and a criminal record extract according to Section 28 of the Social and Health Care Act required for working with the elderly. Additionally, the employee shall provide a medical certificate of suitability for night shifts. Selected employees will be asked randomly for a drug test certificate in accordance with the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county's substance abuse program.
