Silicon Architect, Wireless Protocols & Algorithms

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in wireless algorithm design, modem architecture, or PHY-layer R&D
• Strong background in digital communications: modulation, coding, synchronization, equalization, and multi-antenna techniques
• Solid understanding of fixed-point implementation, complexity analysis, and translating algorithms into hardware-friendly specifications
• Knowledge of RF requirements and constraints (e.g., transceivers and analog beamforming)
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for modeling, simulation, and performance analysis
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Design custom wireless protocols and waveforms with a strong focus on resilience against jamming, interception, and contested RF environments (LPI/LPD, frequency hopping, spread spectrum, adaptive techniques, beamforming)
• Architect, specify, and optimize the modem baseband and transceiver signal chain for custom radio systems
• Contribute to translating algorithmic designs into SoC-implementable specifications, including fixed-point analysis and HW/SW partitioning
• Build reference models and simulation environments (MATLAB / Python / C++) to validate protocol and algorithm performance under realistic channel and threat conditions
• Drive performance analysis and link-level studies - including throughput, latency, range, robustness, and power consumption
• Collaborate closely with SoC architects, RF, digital design, software, and system modeling teams across the full development lifecycle - from concept through silicon bring-up to field validation
