We are seeking a communications intern for autumn 2026 to join Yhteiset Lapsemme ry’s office. The role involves supporting the organization’s communications activities in a small team, with a focus on digital communications, social media, content creation, and analytics. The intern will contribute to tasks such as social media content production (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), search engine analytics (SEO), website communications, photography, image editing, video filming and editing, and general communications support. Ideal candidates will be university or polytechnic students in communications or related fields, with strong Finnish language skills (C1–C2) and a good visual sense. Prior work, internship, or volunteer experience in communications is preferred. English and other languages are advantageous. Desirable knowledge includes marketing and fundraising communications, analytics, and experience with AI tools. We offer a view into communications work on topics such as children’s rights, anti-racism, and integration; opportunities to develop skills in non-profit organizational communications; a welcoming and supportive work environment; pleasant office in Etu-Töölö, Helsinki, with partial remote work option. The internship is unpaid or paid depending on an agreement with the educational institution. If paid, the employer pays internship support to the university/college. Salary is 1400 euros per month.
