Safari and activity guide

Nuorgamin Lomakeskus Oy is a small, welcoming family business in Nuorgam, Finland’s northernmost village, in beautiful open fell scenery, close to Norway and the Arctic Ocean, on the banks of the Tenojoki River. The resort has been run by the same family for more than 50 years. Our important values are sustainable tourism, locality and nature. In addition to the owners’ family, our staff includes 2–8 permanent and seasonal employees. We are looking for safari and activity guides for the winter season 2026–2027. Work begins in December and continues until the end of March or as agreed. Our customer groups are small, and we emphasise genuine interaction, hospitality and personal service. Our goal is to create a unique experience for our guests in the Arctic tundra region of northernmost Lapland. As a safari and activity guide, your duties include guiding our international week-long guests on snowmobile safaris, snowshoe hikes and other fell excursions and outdoor activities. In addition to guiding, your duties include preparing and dismantling activities, maintenance tasks, wilderness meals, customer service and transporting guests. Our guides work together, independently and in pairs. We are looking for a guide who is energetic, responsible, a team player and friendly in customer service.
