Relief Worker

We are seeking a versatile stand-in for Herralahti service area to join a high-performing team. You will be a flexible professional covering multiple sites including kindergartens, schools, and Porin’s sports facilities such as swimming centers and sports halls. The role includes partial meal provision, plating, dishwashing, inventory orders (Aromi system), and self-monitoring in meal services, as well as maintenance cleaning using modern technology and robotics to reduce physical load and develop digital skills. You will be part of a community of around 300 professionals, working either independently or as part of a larger team depending on the site. Tasks may change over time requiring adaptability. You will also contribute to quality and safety, ensuring high service standards across your sites. We expect: relevant professional training or solid experience; mobility with own car for moving between sites (primarily within ~5 km of the city center and Pihla swimming hall); hygienic certificate and basic IT skills are an advantage; proactive team player with a willingness to develop professionally. Employment details: Start 1 Oct 2026 (6-month probation); work 38.25 h/week; mainly weekday hours 06:00–23:00 with occasional weekend shifts due to the swimming centers; salary 2356.92 €/month plus possible experience-based 0–8% increment.
