Full-time Part-time Teacher, Business (Substitute)/REDU - Lapin kesäyliopisto - Rovaniemi, Finland

As a full-time teacher, you have practical experience in payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounting, financial statement entries and documents, taxation, and strong Excel skills. Some of these tasks are performed online (Teams). Your primary workplace is Jokiväylä 9 in Rovaniemi, but teaching, guidance, or demonstrations are also conducted at other REDU training locations, so a driving license is necessary for the role. Teacher duties include teaching and guiding students of different ages in the educational institution, digital learning environments, workplaces, and various projects within customer operational environments. Additionally, tasks include personalizing studies, assessing skills, and developing training together with colleagues, preferably with experience from the current vocational education legislation (2018->). Experience with Studenda would be especially appreciated, but you are also expected to familiarize yourself with application software as needed. You see yourself as a person with a suitable mix of organization, creativity, and engagement to utilize your work experience and education in various situations, working networked and solution-oriented for the benefit of students. We require a vocational teacher qualification according to Regulation 986/1998, practical skills, and work experience in several areas including payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounting, financial statement entries and documents, and taxation. The selected candidate should also have organizational skills, readiness to travel, genuine interest in developing vocational education, and the ability to guide young people and adults to achieve the set objectives. Knowledge of online pedagogy, a communal and developmental work approach, and the ability to operate in various company and other cooperation networks are valued.
