Original job description

We are seeking a full-time team leader for general and mental health to join our Turku service point, starting 1 October 2026 or by agreement. As a team leader you will ensure that your multidisciplinary team’s work serves student health care at its best. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring treatment guarantees, quality assurance, team coordination and development, and implementing national guidelines in practice. Your supervisor will be the service production manager, and you will collaborate closely with other team leaders. The role allows partial remote work (up to 2 days per week) and may include occasional travel. You will lead a team of health care professionals including nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, general practitioners, physiotherapists and administrative staff. Your duties include strengthening collaboration, well-being and competence within your team; staffing and recruitment; coordinating internships and regional student community work; scheduling shifts and arranging substitutions. Requirements include a suitable health care higher education degree; experience in leadership and team development; experience coordinating daily work and processes; strong organizational and solution-focused approach; customer-centric mindset and interest in data-driven management; good communication skills and IT competence. Additional training in leadership or management is a plus, as well as sufficient English and Swedish in addition to Finnish. Why join us?
