Then you are welcome to apply to Kungsgårds Day Care and Preschool As a resource childcare worker, you should be prepared to work with children in the preschool in a group with children who need the support of an extra resource. The resource childcare worker's duties include care and upbringing, as well as the implementation of pedagogical activities together with the early childhood education teacher and the rest of the team. Your contribution enables flexible planning of the group's activities and flexible use of personnel resources for the best interest of the children's group. Kungsgårds Day Care and Preschool has a high proportion of qualified childcare workers and early childhood education teachers. We work for a strong sense of togetherness for both children and staff. Starting in the autumn of 2025, we have begun developing play responsiveness in our unit. We value a genuine interest in developing and evaluating pedagogy together with the entire staff. The preschool collaborates daily with both the school and the day care center. The day care center consists of 7 day care groups and 2 preschool groups. You can find us in Köklax with good transport links by both train and bus. We operate in two buildings: Kungsgårds Day Care, where we have our 0-3 year old groups, and our new building, Kungsgårds Day Care and Preschool, where we have our 3-5 year old groups and preschool groups. Our versatile spaces, such as the school's gymnasium and craft room, as well as a private library and the nature-adjacent location, provide us with opportunities for an educational and inspiring learning environment. In our unit, newly recruited staff have a mentor who helps you get started with your work with us. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable, qualified applicant is found. This workplace is accessible. Qualification requirements: Qualification in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education and Care (540/2018) For the task, a suitable basic degree in pedagogical activity and guidance, a basic degree in the social and health care industry, or another equivalent degree. E.g., childcare worker, day care worker, and nursing assistant (competence area for pedagogical activity and care of children and young people). Excellent oral and written skills in Swedish. We require: The selected person must present a criminal record extract according to Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). The Communicable Diseases Act requires the investigation of the risk of tuberculosis infection for employees in the social and health care sector and for those working with children under school age.
