As our company expands its operations to Oulu, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer for modern technologies and innovative solutions! Your role with us In the role of Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design of electronics solutions, from specification tasks to schematic and PCB design, documentation, and the testing and construction of prototypes. We implement projects extensively for various international companies, and your work may target, for example, telecommunications and network devices, medical devices, energy technology products, or consumer products. The emphasis of the role varies by project and is also shaped by your own background and strengths. Our multidisciplinary team of embedded systems is growing and developing rapidly, so if you wish, you will have the opportunity to take on broader responsibility for both projects and the team's operations. What kind of person are we looking for? We are looking for a person for the position who has strong experience in electronics design and the ability to master broad technical entities and new innovations. We hope for: - Several years of experience in the design of wide-ranging electronics solutions - A suitable technical university degree - Experience in operating in different stages of the product development process from concept to production - Knowledge of the most common embedded chipsets - Deep expertise in electronics design software, such as Altium or PADS - We consider it an advantage if you also have power electronics expertise In addition to technical skills, we especially value constructive problem-solving ability. You have the precision to notice details, and your accuracy is visible in both design and documentation. You can operate both independently and as part of a larger product development team and communicate fluently with stakeholders in both Finnish and English. You have a positive attitude towards mastering new technologies, are genuinely excited by product development tasks, and due to your natural curiosity, you want to develop into an even better expert in your field.
