We are looking for a fire inspector for our professional team. As a fire inspector, your duties include: - fire inspections and supervision tasks - guidance and instruction on accident prevention and self-preparedness - various statements and decisions - stakeholder and network cooperation and versatile customer service - tasks supporting safety communication - other tasks belonging to the accident prevention service entity Eligibility requirement: Suitable Bachelor's degree, for example, a Bachelor of Business Administration in safety and risk management OR a non-commissioned or commissioned officer's degree according to the Rescue Decree (407/2011). Selection for the position is conditional until the selected person has presented an acceptable occupational health care certificate of suitability for the task and a personal security clearance according to the Security Clearance Act (726/2014) has been approved. The selected person must also commit to drug testing. In addition to the eligibility requirement, we require: - Valid class B driver's license - At least good oral and written skills in Finnish Considered an advantage: - Proactive and self-directed work style and ability to make independent decisions - Good negotiation and communication skills - Good IT skills and ability to produce clear and understandable documents - Good information retrieval and application skills - Development-oriented and open to new ways of operating - Interest in developing own skills and expertise - Oral and written proficiency in Swedish - Work experience in the safety or rescue sector - Experience in the accident prevention tasks of a rescue department About us: Central Uusimaa Rescue Department produces and maintains safety with the help of about 550 professionals for nearly half a million residents and companies in the area. Our key tasks are accident prevention, rescue operations and emergency care. We also take care of tasks related to preparedness and civil defense. We offer a versatile work environment and field of operation. Our area of operation includes densely built cities and sparse countryside. We are located in a central place near an international airport and busy transport links. There are also large production plants in our area, and our major accident readiness is significant. Our station network is dense and its accessibility is good. The municipalities in our area include Vantaa, Kerava, Tuusula, Nurmijärvi, Hyvinkää, Järvenpää, Mäntsälä and Pornainen.
