Lead Developer – Autonomous Systems Would you like to take technical leadership of building a new autonomous system? We are looking for a Lead Developer / principal designer for the development of a new autonomous vehicle. You will join at the early stages of the project to define the system architecture, technology choices and key autonomy solutions. We are looking for an experienced hands-on developer with strong expertise in autonomous systems and practical experience developing neural-network-based solutions. In this role, you will not develop just an individual component, but will be responsible for how the whole system is technically built. Your role As Lead Developer, you will act as the technical principal designer of the autonomous system and actively take part in practical development work. - Design the software and system architecture of the autonomous system. - Be responsible for key technology and architecture choices. - Develop and integrate neural-network-based solutions into the autonomous system. - Develop solutions for perception, navigation, sensor fusion, decision-making and control. - Participate in system integration, testing and commissioning. - Guide technical implementation and support the rest of the development team. What we expect from you - Strong software development skills, especially in C++ and Python environments. - Practical experience with neural-network-based solutions. - Practical experience with autonomous systems, robotics or similarly demanding systems. - Experience in software or system architecture. - Understanding of sensors, sensor fusion and real-time systems. - Ability to make well-founded technical choices and take responsibility for the whole. - A hands-on attitude: you also want to design, implement and test solutions yourself.
