Ruovesi Comprehensive School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed part-time teacher of mathematical subjects. The position may also include lessons at Sasky Ruovesi Upper Secondary School. We hope the applicant has a development-oriented approach to work, strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical insight, as well as good interaction skills. Ruovesi Comprehensive School is located in a vibrant cultural municipality. Our school has approximately 210 students. In our teaching, we focus on high-quality basic work. It is important for us to create a safe and encouraging learning community where students feel comfortable and receive support for their own growth and learning. Eligibility requirements are determined in accordance with the Decree on the Qualifications of Teaching Staff (986/1998). Selection will take into account eligibility, professional competence, and cooperation and interaction skills. In the absence of eligible applicants, those without the required qualifications will also be considered. The terms of employment are in accordance with the current collective agreement on working and official conditions (OVTES). Degree and work certificates are requested to be presented during a possible job interview. The position is subject to a four-month probationary period. Before the selection is confirmed, the selected person must present an approved medical certificate and a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
