Expert Quantity Surveyor

The Expert Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical and Electrical) (m/f/d) supports Subcontracting Management within their area of expertise throughout the full project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor plays an integral role within the Procurement & Subcontracting Team by managing the interface between Engineering and Procurement & Subcontracting, as well as overseeing the subcontractor payment application process. Responsibilities include analyzing drawings, specifications and tender documents to estimate quantities and costs; preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) or Schedules of Rates specific to M&E systems; using digital tools (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Revit, BIM) to ensure precision in quantification; verifying subcontractor payment applications and progress reports; and supporting the Subcontract Manager with final measurements for contract close-out. Requirements include a third-level education diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; at least five years of post-qualification experience with a main contractor; EPC client project experience with total value exceeding €500 million; proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; strong communication, analytical and numerical skills; able to work accurately with figures.
