This could be your next job! Our client Pasi Trans Oy operates in the transport and logistics sector in the Kymenlaakso region. The company’s operations are closely connected to port traffic and container transport, and the role also includes various terminal tasks. We are now looking for a long-term employee for Pasi Trans Oy who wants to develop in the field and become part of a functioning team. In this position you will be able to perform both transport and terminal work. Previous experience is a plus, but what matters most to us is motivation and a willingness to work. You will be trained and guided in the tasks; you don’t need to know everything beforehand! What does the job involve? - Driving sea containers with a semi-trailer from Kotka or Hamina ports to customers in the Kymenlaakso region. In addition to transports, the work days include various terminal tasks. - The job is varied, so no day may be the same. - Tasks include: container transports from ports to customers, driving a semi-trailer, daily terminal tasks, goods handling and loading-related tasks, forklift work, and other transport & logistics tasks. - Your seat of operation can be Kotka or Hamina – we are happy to accommodate the employee’s own preference. - The work is mainly on weekdays. Shifts start in the morning around 06–08 and last about 10–12 hours. Actual driving accumulates to about 20 hours per week, with good opportunities to also perform terminal tasks. What do we expect from you? - Attitude matters more than work history in this role. - We look for a motivated and reliable employee who wants to commit for a longer period. - We hope you bring: some previous transport sector experience; experience in warehouse or terminal work; willingness to learn and develop; proactive and independent attitude; careful and responsible approach; ability to work independently; interest in a long-term employment. - CE driving license, digital tachograph card and professional competence are required for driver duties. - Prior experience with sea containers, break-bulk transport or forklift work is considered a plus, but not everything must be known at start. The right attitude and motivation are most important. We will train you!
